Ike Unger

LEAD PASTOR

Ike Unger has served as a pastor at Deer Run Church since 1998; first as Youth Pastor, then Associate Pastor and now as Lead Pastor. His greatest joy is discipling people towards spiritual wholeness through personal interaction, Bible study and preaching/teaching. He’s married to Maria and they have three teenagers. As a family, they love traveling, ice-cream, camping and have a passion to serve Christ in the local church.

Peter Klassen

ASSOCIATE PASTOR

Peter is passionate about working with students and seeing them grow closer to Christ. He has many years of experience in youth ministry as a volunteer and co-ordinator, even before becoming part of the pastoral staff at Deer Run Church.  He is married to Maria, and they are blessed with four children.

Jonathan Neufeld

ASSOCIATE PASTOR

Jona strives to create a hospitable environment for students to encounter God. He began pastoring the sr. youth & young adults in 2017. Before becoming part of the pastoral staff here, he was very involved in both of these ministries. Jona is married to Esther and they have two kids. He loves coffee, golfing, watching hockey, and socializing.

Rebecca Wall

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Rebecca has been part of the office administration team  since 2014 . She plays an important role in the day-to-day life of Deer Run Church, from supporting our staff to helping our church family stay connected. Rebecca is married to Kevin and together they love serving at Deer Run and raising their two boys.

Helen Andrade

FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR

Helen has been involved in Deer Run’s finance team since 2015 and joined the staff in 2020. Helen has been involved in many ministries over the years and enjoys serving in various ways, but her gift is in numbers and finance with great attention to detail. Helen is married to her husband Vic and they have three adult children.

Barbi Dyck

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY ADMINISTRATOR

Barbi joined Deer Run staff in 2025 as Children's Ministry Administrator. As a Sunday school teacher, she is passionate about helping children get to know Jesus. Barbi and her husband Peter have 5 amazing children. She loves to learn new things and meet new people, especially if there is coffee and dessert involved!

Martha Hamm

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY COORDINATOR

Martha joined Deer Run staff in 2026 as Children's Ministry Coordinator.  Martha and her husband Abram have 5 children. With over 20 years of experience in children's ministry, she has a heart for helping children grow in their faith and develop a lasting relationship with Jesus. Outside of ministry, she loves spending time outdoors, especially in her garden.
