Ike Unger has served as a pastor at Deer Run Church since September 1998; first as Youth Pastor, then Associate Pastor and now as Lead Pastor. His greatest joy is discipling people towards spiritual wholeness through personal interaction, Bible study and preaching/teaching. He’s married to Maria and they have three teenagers. As a family, they love traveling, ice-cream, camping and have a passion to serve Christ in the local church.

Peter is passionate about working with students and seeing them grow closer with Christ. He has many years of experience in youth ministry as a volunteer and co-ordinator, even before becoming part of the pastoral staff at Deer Run Church.  He is married to Maria, and is blessed with four children; Trinity, Stella, Zephyr and Jade!

Annie served as a Children's Ministry Intern in 2011 and began as Children's Ministry Director in 2012. She is married to Herman and they have three children. She is a self-proclaimed DIY expert (which is a huge asset in children's ministry). 

Quentin, his wife Christina and four young children joined Deer Run Church in early 2016. Quentin studied at Peace River Bible Institute before beginning his pastoral ministry. His focus is providing leadership to the Low German congregation, Lifegroups and Care Ministry. Quentin and his family love camping, fishing and working on the latest project in their yard.
Quentin is currently on sabbatical and will return in April.

Jona strives to create a hospitable environment for students to encounter God. He began pastoring the sr. youth & young adults in September of 2017. Before becoming part of the pastoral staff here, he was very involved in both of these ministries. Jona is married to Esther and they have a daughter. He loves coffee, watching hockey, and socializing.

Rebecca has been part of the office administration team and worship ministry at Deer Run since 2014 . She is a valuable asset to the church staff as she keeps things running smoothly in the office. She is the person to contact regarding any church ministry. As of 2024 Rebecca has taken on the Worship Director role. She is excited to begin this adventure and give direction to the worship ministry. She is married to Kevin and together they are actively serving at Deer Run and raising their two boys.

Mary has been on staff since 2020. She is the church photographer for events such as baptisms and child dedications. She enjoys being involved in the Starting Point ministry. Mary is married to Isaac and they are blessed with three children.

Helen has been involved in Deer Run’s finance team since 2015 and joined the staff in 2020. Helen has been involved in many ministries over the years and enjoys serving in various ways, but her gift is in numbers and finance with great attention to detail. Helen is married to her husband Vic and they have three children.
